Midge, short for Midget, is the new Sheriff in town. She’s a 2-year-old Chihuahua-rat terrier mix skilled at detecting marijuana and compact enough to squeeze into the wee spaces in cars favored by drug dealers. Midge made her first search at 6 months with Sheriff Dan McClelland as both his partner and trainer. Early on there were skeptics, but no longer. She’s dedicated to sniffing out crime.
